Anchorage to organize festival for nurses
An empowering event for today’s nurses will come to Anchorage in September at the BP Energy Center.
The Modern Nurse Fest is a multi-day experience where attendees can connect with others in their field while learning from knowledgeable presenters and browsing medical exhibitors. All kinds of healthcare professionals can attend the conference, such as frontline workers, advanced practitioners, and nursing students. Guests will get to meet with hospitals, travel nurse agencies, and university representatives. Attendees may also take headshots at the event and read nursing books at the Book Nook.
Many activities will be held throughout the fest, such as a nursing-themed escape room, the Modern Nurse Pizza Party, and group yoga sessions. There will be many guest speakers at the conference, like Emily Knife, Doris Taylor, and Shannon Davis. Guests can attend presentations on topics such as the state of healthcare in Alaska, starting medical businesses, and the mental health of healthcare workers. Attendees may order food from local trucks at the venue and get drinks from the herbal tea bar.
The Modern Nurse Fest will be from September 25 to 26. There will also be an exclusive VIP mixer held on Wednesday, September 24. General admission to the conference is $297 per person and will include access to wellness sessions and all presentations. VIP passes will cost $397. Organizations that hold themed conferences like this may use flyer printing to promote their events.
