The Alaska Zoo has scheduled the Summer Adventure Camp for children to take place in Anchorage next month.
Designed for children between ages 6 and 12, this five-day event is priced at $325 per individual for members of the zoo and $350 for non-members. Registration is available online only and needs to be arranged in advance.
The Summer Adventure Camp will feature a Big Cat Role Call theme. Each day of the Anchorage camp will focus on a different topic, including Calling All Cats, Snow Leopard Lair, Loving Lynx, Terrific Tigers, and Prey Day. Parents or guardians will be able to drop off their children at 8:30 am each day and pick them up again by 4:30 pm. To advertise similar events, the organizers frequently invest in poster printing to design and produce visually captivating printouts.
Among the items each child is advised to bring with them to the event are one or two facemasks each, a backpack, water, snacks, lunch, and attire suitable for the weather on the week of the camp. Campers are also welcome to bring cameras.
To keep safe, all participants will spend as much time outdoors as possible along with adherence to essential practice such as frequent hand washing and social distancing.
The Summer Adventure Camp is set to be hosted at the Alaska Zoo from Monday, May 31 to Friday, June 4.
