Cuddy Family Midtown Park in Anchorage will hold a festival in June to celebrate the longest day of the year.
The Sundown Alaska Music & Arts Festival is an event that combines three days of concerts with a carnival and art demonstrations. Many notable artists will perform at this year’s Solstice festival, including The Wonder Years, Handsome Tiger, and Diplo. Attendees can watch over 60 shows at multiple stages, go on carnival rides, and participate in interactive art experiences. There will also be a vendor area with a general store, food trucks, and local crafters.
The fest has several rules for guests to follow. A guardian must accompany eventgoers who are younger than 16 years old. Attendees are not allowed to sit on the designated dance floors, go crowd-surfing, or give out unauthorized handbills. People can bring items like inflatables, hula hoops, handmade flags, and empty water bottles to the event. Guests may not bring drones, tents, beach umbrellas, or chairs. Outside food and drinks are also banned from the venue.
The music and arts fest will be held from June 7th to June 9th. General three-day passes to the event range from $149 to $229 and include access to all concert stages and carnival rides. VIP passes will cost between $379 and $429. Those with VIP tickets will receive access to the VIP Fast Entry Lane and exclusive concession areas. Concerts like this can be promoted with help from banner printing services.
