The Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage will be holding an event in October to promote local businesses.
The Make It Alaskan Festival is a family-friendly expo where vendors from the community gather to showcase their goods to the public and wholesale buyers. Several products can be found at the event, including housewares, crafts, clothing, and food. Guests will also hear live performances from bands throughout the trade show. Wholesale buyers will get to privately preview the available products before the public festival begins.
Businesses interested in the expo can buy spaces starting at $300. Each booth bought for the event will include two chairs and an ID sign. The organizers for the show offer several add-ons that vendors can purchase for their spaces, such as tables, garment racks, access to electricity, and curtains. Merchants can choose whether or not they wish to attend the wholesale preview show. Those who go to festivals like this often bring custom Business Cards to connect with visiting customers.
The event will occur from Friday, October 8th to Sunday, October 10th. The expo will open at noon for the public on Friday and will start at 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. There is no need for guests to register for the trade show, and admission is free for all visitors. The exclusive wholesale preview show will take place on Friday from 9:00 am to noon.
