Anchorage museum to organize festival

The Anchorage Museum will be holding a festival in April to celebrate Alaska’s innovation and creativity.

North x North is an annual program created by the Anchorage Museum where people can experience several Forms of art. The event is a collaborative effort with The Arctic Encounter and other community organizations. This year, the museum has partnered with the Tromsø International Film Festival in Norway to hold multiple film screenings. Attendees can also see new art installations and attend creative workshops while at the event.

The Anchorage Museum is an educational attraction located in the homeland of the Eklutna Dena’ina. The building serves as a venue for many kinds of workshops and activities, such as yoga lessons, art classes, and guest lectures. There is also an onsite planetarium people can visit while at the museum. The organization has even started collaborative projects such as Seed Lab and Polar Lab. Attractions like this may use Print shops to make ads for their exhibits and programs.

The North x North 2022 Summit & Festival will be held from April 6 to April 9. A full schedule of events for the experience will be released closer to the festival date. People interested in joining the Anchorage Museum as a member can pay $70 for a basic membership, which includes free admission and a digital member’s card. VIP memberships will cost $500.
