Anchorage goes on musical journey

The Wild Creatures tour will see Neko Case performing at the Atwood Concert Hall in September.

Singer-songwriter Neko Case is an indie, folk rock, and alternative country singer who is also a part of the Canadian band the New Pornographers. Critics have compared her to popular performers like Wanda Jackson, Hazel Dickens, Dolly Parton, and Lynn and Patsy Cline. Her albums “Middle Cyclone” and “The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You” both went to number one on the US Indie music chart.

Case has over 20 years under her belt and is considered a powerhouse performer. Her alto voice and adventurous music take listeners on a voyage full of fire, mystery, want, danger, hurt, and love. Wild Creatures is her latest album, which was released on April 19, 2022.

Tickets for the upcoming performance start at $36.50 and can be purchased from the Anchorage Concert Association or CenterTix box office. Tickets go on sale in August.

Poster printing is a creative and effective way for organizers to provide information about events such as this.

The event will take place on Friday, September 16 at 7:30 pm. Atwood Concert Hall is at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, 621 West 6th Avenue in Anchorage. Those interested can visit Neko Case’s website for other tour dates, to set a reminder, or to purchase tickets.
