Anchorage corporation to hold yearly luncheon

The Anchorage Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) will organize a luncheon in January at the Dena’ina Center.

The Economic Forecast Luncheon is a business event where store owners, industry leaders, and young professionals can network with others and learn from experienced presenters. There will be many speakers at the conference, including Jenna Wright and the current board chair of the AEDC. The luncheon’s keynote speaker is Peter Kageyama, an author and community development expert who will talk about the connections between people and their cities.

People interested in supporting the luncheon can become volunteers. There are several duties for volunteers, including placing swag Bags, checking in vendors, helping guests find their tables, and selling raffle tickets. Volunteers can also assist with cleaning after the conference. Businesses can show their support by sponsoring the AECD’s event. The packages range from $1,000 to $15,000 and include perks like logo representation, program ads, and speaking opportunities at the event.

The luncheon will be on January 22nd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tickets to the AEDC’s conference will cost between $75 to $1,200. The price will vary depending on where attendees choose to sit at the venue. There are also VIP tables available at the conference. Economic development corporations that put together luncheons like this may use flyer printing services to create original advertisements for their events.
