The Junior Achievement of Alaska will host a bowling event in November at Jewel Lake Bowl in Anchorage.
The Bowl-A-Thon is a family-friendly bowling fundraiser that supports Junior Achievement of Alaska’s mission of improving the financial literacy and workforce readiness skills of students throughout the state. Each team will have the opportunity to bowl three games during the fundraiser. Guests can dress as Super Mario characters to participate in the event’s costume competition. There will also be trivia competitions and a raffle for airline tickets. People may also take part in the Bowl-A-Thon’s silent auction.
Companies can support the Junior Achievement of Alaska by becoming sponsors for the bowling fundraiser. There are multiple sponsorship levels that range from $500 to $7,500. Businesses that give money to the event will receive perks such as recognition in the organizer’s newsletter, logo inclusion on Signs at the bowling alley, and being verbally recognized during the event. Stores can also sponsor individual bowlers for $175.
The bowling fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 1st from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Those interested in being part of the Bowl-A-Thon can pay $850 to register a team of five bowlers. Teams will receive pizza and a commemorative gift. Individual bowlers can also sign up for the event for $160. Organizations that hold similar family-friendly fundraising events to this may give attendees Promotional Products to bring home.
