Anchorage awards ceremony to honor local businesses
The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce will be holding an awards show in November at the Anchorage Marriott Downtown.
The 64th Annual Gold Pan Awards is a ceremony where local companies are honored for their greatness and community service contributions. The show debuted in 1957 and has given awards such as Entrepreneurial Excellence and Business Excellence. Past organizations that have been nominated for awards include Alaska Escape Rooms, Nine Star Enterprises, and Baxter Senior Living. The theme of this year’s show is The Magic Within.
Businesses interested in promoting their brand to attendees at the event can become a sponsor. There are several packages for stores to select that offer benefits such as having their logo featured on the ceremony’s website, being recognized in the event program, and getting thanked by the evening’s entertainer before they perform. Prices will range from $1,000 to $3,000. Organizers for celebrations like this may promote their sponsors with banner printing.
The awards show will be on Friday, November 12 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and will cost $100 per ticket for members of the Anchorage chamber. VIP admission is priced at $250. Non-members are also allowed to attend, though they must pay $150 for an individual ticket. Guests are suggested to wear emerald-colored formal attire to match the theme of the ceremony. The organizers will have masks available for program attendees.
