Park in Falkirk to get bicycle shed

A park in Falkirk is set to have a sizeable new shed for bicycles added to it, after the local council opted to give its approval to Plans for the structure that were submitted two months ago.

The organisation behind these Plans is Cycling Without Age Scotland. It was set up to provide access to cycling for those with disabilities and the elderly, both of whom usually lose out on the health benefits associated with the activity due to their restricted mobility or simply their age. The organisation provides trishaw riding that is directly targeted at those two groups.

It applied to Falkirk Council for permission to create a shed for the vehicles at Helix Park. That notable local green space is where the iconic 30-metre-tall sculptures of horses heads known as the ‘Kelpies’ can be found. The new shed will be built within the car park that is in front of the entrance to them, and it will cost £18,200 to complete.

Organisations such as this one can turn to places in Falkirk that create eye-catching giveaway Promotional Products if they need new ways to advertise the classes they offer to the target audiences.

AMT Log Cabins will build the shed. Top-quality handles and locks will be attached to all of its doors and windows, and there will be individual units that have insulated glass.
