An actress from Falkirk has landed a key part in an upcoming tour of a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Briana Craig has scored a role in the iconic show CATS, as a new stage production prepares to tour the country. She is set to play the role of Rumpleteazer and she is one of two performers from Scotland who have been cast in it. There is little doubt that it represents a major career break for Craig, who is a former student of Denny High in Falkirk.
After she finished her time at school, she went on to Laine Theatre Arts for training. This was followed by a period studying at The Dance School of Scotland. Since graduating, Craig has appeared on stage in musical shows both in this country and overseas.
Upcoming stage shows are often advertised using promotional Posters. Falkirk has poster printing shops that can handle orders of this kind.
Among the shows that Craig has previously featured in are Singing in the Rain, 42nd Street and A Chorus Line. She has performed in pantomimes too, including Dick Whittington, Jack and the Beanstalk and Snow White.
The opening date of this CATS tour will be in Plymouth at the Theatre Royal. One of the Scottish dates will be the Edinburgh Playhouse.
It will get underway in October and is scheduled to run until June next year.Get a Free Quote for Posters
