Open day to be held by distillery in Falkirk
Fans of whisky in the Falkirk area will have the chance to enjoy an ideal day out later in the summer, with the news that a local distillery is throwing open its doors to the public.
Falkirk Distillery Company is set to host an open day event, which will be the first of its kind that it has ever held and will provide those who love the Scottish national drink with a chance to find out more about how it is made. The event will take place outside at its site in Grandsable Road, and there will be no charge to the public to enter, with a range of fun planned for those who do.
There will be a variety of light entertainment on offer, along with market stalls for people to browse and shop at. When it comes to refreshments, there will be stalls selling street food options and several fully licensed bars, where people can sample the whisky produced at the distillery.
Companies holding these kinds of open days often make sure they have giveaway promotional products available to help get the word out to more people.
A spokesperson for the distillery told the Falkirk Herald that:
This open day will be held on 7th August.
