What's Happening in Falkirk, Scotland…

New housing development planned near Falkirk

A major new housing development could be built at a site just outside Falkirk, if the plans for it that have been submitted are given the green light by the council.

The proposed site for this development is in Broad Street, Denny, which is close to Falkirk. The company that has submitted the plans is Cruden Homes and they are for a sizeable development. It would consist of a total of 224 brand new homes to be constructed on a parcel of land that measures 13.9 hectares. This is situated on the east side of the town, by the River Carron.

The site in question is part of the Falkirk Local Development Plan 2, where it has been set aside for a mixed-use development. The planned project would fit in with this, due to the additional infrastructure that has been proposed alongside the housing.

When local housing developers want to show off their latest properties, brochure printing by Falkirk shops can help them. It can provide them with brochures that contain photographs of the properties.

Cruden Homes’ managing director Fraser Lynes said that the development would help to meet local housing needs and would also assist Falkirk Council with its growth plans.

The architect that has designed the development is EMA Architecture and Design. It features a mix of houses and flats that range from one to five bedrooms.
