National cross country race to be held in Falkirk

Falkirk is set to be the location for a race next month that will mark the prestigious climax of the cross country running season, and the organisers are urging people to put their names forward.

The Lindsays Cross Country Season is the main competition of its kind in Scotland and the National XC is the event that brings it to a close each year. That makes it one of the most hotly anticipated of the season, and it generally attracts entrants by the hundreds from cross country clubs, with a similar turnout expected for 2024.

As in previous seasons, the venue for the event this year will be Falkirk’s Callendar Park. The 2024 National XC will represent the 10-year anniversary of Lindsays sponsorship, adding a further note of prestige to it.

Good advertising is essential to the organisers of sporting events such as this, if they want to ensure that plenty of people show up to support the runners. Poster printing from shops in Falkirk is one of the options available to them for achieving that.

The Lindsays National XC is always a highly competitive event, with around 100 cross country running clubs from all over Scotland usually represented. In total, there will be 10 races on the day.

This event is scheduled to take place in Callendar Park on 24th February.
