Falkirk spa in contention for national award
A spa in Falkirk is in the running for a national award, having triumphed in the regional finals that were held earlier this month.
Bannatyne Health Club and Spa won in the category of ‘Best Multi-Site Beauty Salon’ at the Scotland Business Awards regional final for Falkirk & Stirling. The business is based at the Central Retail Park in the town and this is the second successive year that it has won at regional level.
Last year it went on the claim the biggest prize at the national grand final and now it is hoping to retain that award. To win the top gong at both regional and national levels on two consecutive occasions would mark a tremendous achievement.
In an interview with Scottish Business News, the manager of the spa, Gemma McGregor, stated that:

There are 13 therapists working at the Bannatyne Health Club and Spa. Several of them are likely to attend the national awards ceremony in November.
