Levenseat is a company that specialises in waste management and recycling, and it bought the Falkirk MRF from Avondale Environmental for an amount that has not been made public. Now, it will put £4m into the facility to upgrade it with the latest automated processes and cutting-edge technologies. The company has stated that the revamped facility will need around 50 skilled workers when it is ready.
The MRF deals with waste totalling roughly 200,000 tonnes each year, which is nearly twice the present sorting line capacity for Levenseat. It will look to retain its existing base of customers, as well as expanding to attract new ones.
Shops in Falkirk that provide Corporate Gifts can be a most helpful resource for companies that are looking to win over new clients or keep hold of the ones they have.
Speaking to Scottish Construction Now, Angus Hamilton, the managing director of Levenseat, stated:
“Today’s acquisition of the Materials Recycling Facility, which includes the land and associated equipment at the Falkirk site, is a core part of our ambitious strategy.”
He added that the company was excited to reveal its Plans for the site.
