Falkirk bus station to become beer hall

A building in Falkirk that used to house the town’s bus station is set to be converted into a beer hall, after the local council made the decision to approve these Plans.

The application to convert the building was submitted by Ondrej Rafaj. He wants to change a unit located within The Arcade, which is in the Callendar Riggs district of Falkirk, into a new beer hall and venue for live shows. Once it is up and running, this new facility will stock craft ales and host various types of concerts.

Rafaj owns a micro-brewery called The Not That California Brewing Company. He is planning to use the beer hall to enable residents of Falkirk to try out its different ales. The name of the venue is going to be The Rock Bottom Beer Hall.

Outlets in Falkirk that provide graphic design can sometimes be useful to people when they are launching new venues. They can help to create promotional Posters that grab the attention.

Rafaj set up a campaign on a crowd funding website to raise the £11,000 needed to kick start his project. It was successful, and he told a local source that:
“It’s been so heartwarming to see people are really looking for something like this in Falkirk.”

He added that he was delighted that it would now be moving forward. A date for the grand opening is yet to be announced.
