This innovation comes courtesy of Odeon, which is the second largest chain of cinemas within the UK, and the company states that it will be a genuine game changer when it comes to the customer experience. The facility officially opened its doors to the general public this month.
Those attending will find something familiar about it, as the Odeon Luxe is a revamping of the old Odeon cinema. Although it is located in the same spot, the new version has reclining leather seating for over 650 people.
It features nine cinema screens that will be showing all of the hottest new movies and Odeon East Kilbride’s general manager, Robert Murphy, told the Evening Times that it would be the country’s finest film venue:
“With half the seats, but triple the legroom – and a jam-packed release schedule of the biggest and best films in the coming months – we can’t wait to welcome film fans through our doors to enjoy them in fantastic luxury and comfort.”
