Watford’s Croxley Green Business Park (CGBP) has launched an arts-based competition aimed at school children.
The competition is an effort to engage school children aged between 3 and 11 who have an interest in art. The prospect of winning art supplies is being used as an incentive to boost participation. The management of CGBP are set to use printing services in Watford for promotional purposes going forward. A new building development at the Business Park will be decorated by pictures produced by the contest winners.
The entries will be assessed for quality by Rob Flavelle and Steven Overman. Flavelle will be acting as a representative of the owners of CGBP, while Overman will be taking part as he is a marketing executive for Kodak, one of the current tenants using the business park as a base.
CGBP is situated within two miles of the centre of Watford. A new construction on the site is due to begin during July, and once completed, will serve as the new headquarters. It has been reported that this work should be finished during the course of next summer.
Further proposals have been made in relation to the future of CGBP. The transport infrastructure in the area is going to receive a boost from the construction of a fresh station near the entrance of the park. Amenities inside the park are due to be upgraded to promote more of a community atmosphere.
