Jazz vocalist to perform concert in Watford

A top jazz vocalist is going to be coming to a venue in Watford later this year for a concert full of warm and sophisticated sounds.

Emma Smith is a singer who has earned critical plaudits for her mix of impeccable phrasing and playful humour. Jazz fans in Watford are now going to be given the chance to find out what all of the fuss is about when she comes to town with a show called Doing It My Way. This sees her perform a mix of jazzy ballads and upbeat swinging songs, while also joking with the audience.

Her show in the town will not be just another live engagement for Smith, as she has Watford links in her past. She was a pupil at The Purcell School and also lived in Radlett.

When it comes to getting the word out about upcoming local concerts like this one, Promotional Products created by Watford Print shops can be effective. They can be designed with the right theme and given away to people.

The venue for this concert will be Watford Palace Theatre, but the Jazz Junction is co-promoting it. Chris Newstead from that organisation told the Watford Observer:
“Emma is simply outstanding. She combines world-class vocal technique with real emotional connection, and she always performs alongside the very best UK jazz musicians.”

She will play in the town on 9 May.
