Garfunkel made his name during that decade, when he was one half of the popular Simon and Garfunkel duo. He was the lead vocalist on such iconic songs as ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ and ‘To Emily’. After the duo split in the early seventies, he went on to an equally successful solo career, both as singer and actor. This brought him eight Grammy awards and a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Now he is set to play a show at the Watford Colosseum, in what is a major coup for that venue. This show will be part of his latest tour, which has been given the name ‘What a Wonderful World’.
