The expansion of Preston’s eOrigen Learning and Communications is poised to generate 36 jobs. This move has been enabled by resources from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF). £250,000 should make a substantial impact on the fortunes of the digital enterprise. Stationery printers from Preston can be used to celebrate corporate achievements. Lancashire County Council’s Andy Walker said:
“The fact this investment is helping to create jobs locally, while the company expands globally, is great news for Preston and Lancashire as a whole.”
As the lead for Business Growth and Innovation at the council, Walker would encourage other Lancashire businesses with major aspirations to watch out for any opportunities. He recognises that the NPIF initiative can make a really big difference to the direction of a company.
Mike Mulvihill founded eOrigen some years ago. As the chief executive of the outfit, he has an abundance of experience. Much of his experience was accumulated in the media sector, but he has a strong commercial background. He is aware that half of training could be conducted online by 2020.
Back in 2013, the organisation came up with an initiative that empowered providers of training. This project proved to be a successful venture in terms of take-up. Since then, the business has developed a new scheme. It is this commitment to innovation which has helped the outfit to secure support.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
