Over 150 houses being built in Preston

Building of more than 150 homes has begun on the site of an old golf club in Preston.

Bellway, a residential developer, is in charge of the project, which on completion will be made up of 152 properties. Jenny Bell, a sales director for Bellway, told Business Up North:

“We are delighted to be the first housebuilder to receive approval to develop at the former Ingol Golf Club site and to be making a start on site.”

Brochure printing can be useful in the property industry, particularly when new housing is concerned.

The decision on naming the development has been made already, with the management at Bellway opting for Cotton Woods. The choice reflects the proximity of woods to the location.

When it comes to the specificity of the new housing, Bellway will deliver various designs, but all of the designs in question are from their Artisan Collection. Each house will have a garage or its own parking space.

Environmental issues are not being neglected – charging points for electric vehicles will be the norm, and solar panels will be installed as standard. The hope is that the emissions rate from the buildings is going to be low.

Cotton Woods fits in with a wider masterplan that includes a variety of amenities. Residents of the development will also benefit from fresh transport links.
