The owners of Go Burrito may be heading down to their local digital printing company for Menus and point of sale marketing materials, after having Plans for a new outlet approved by Preston City Council.
Launched in Lancaster in 2012 by two ex-students, Go Burrito has experienced huge success at its Lower Church Street shop and now Plans on opening another in Friargate, Preston. This will create six full-time positions, as well as opening jobs for eight part-time employees. Go Burrito will replace what was Karen Norris Hair, and the site has been identified as one where it will be possible to tap into the local student market.
Go Burrito initially started out as little more than a lunchtime snack bar, but Lancaster residents’ appreciation of Mexican food led to bigger ambitions and the company eventually moved to other premises where diners were also able to sit in and eat. Since then, a Go Burrito bar has been opened upstairs, where people can enjoy Mexican beer and cocktails, and this occasionally hosts live music. There is also a catering arm to the firm.
However, despite its growing number of interests, it has remained true to the Go Burrito mission statement, which reads “Freedom from the tyranny of the sandwich!” It won’t be long before Preston residents will be able to sample the company’s Mexican offering.Get a Free Quote for Menus Get a Free Quote for Plans
