The Oadby Food Festival was launched last year and attracted a sizeable number of people. It is put together by Oadby and Wigston Borough Council and features a mix of regional and global cuisines. The council is promising the same blend of food, community fun and live music that proved so popular last year – but bigger and better all round.
The venue for the festival will once again be The Parade, with food stalls set to occupy most of the area. Among the delicious dishes that will be on offer are Texas barbecue, street food from Thailand, curries courtesy of Chilli Guys and desserts from Zeph’s.
When it comes to advertising local events like this, themed Promotional Products from shops in Oadby are one way to spread the word. They can be given away to people on the streets.
Borough Council deputy leader Lee Bentley told In Your Area:
“We are excited to be bringing this much-loved event back to Oadby, and we are looking forward to a brilliant day celebrating our local community and businesses.”
The festival is free and will feature activities like a baking contest. It takes place on 30th August.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
