Trevor Jeavons is aged 76 and his exhibition consists of a series of paintings featuring local landmarks The Hub, Xscape, The City Church, The Pagoda, Concrete Cows, The Theatre, and The Point.
They are on display in Acorn House and Jeavons, who served as the headmaster at Oliver Wells School and also worked for a time as an art therapist, feels a personal connection to all seven of the landmarks featured.
He was in groups that performed live gigs at The Point, while the Concrete Cows nearly became a part of the playground at Oliver Wells School during his time in charge there.
Speaking to a reporter from One MK, he said:
“I’m a Milton Keynes bloke and I love Milton Keynes. Nobody else has done this before and my son said push them out and help make some money for charity.”
A book and a series of Postcards reproducing the paintings are being sold both at Acorn House and Stony Stratford’s Odells Yard, with a quarter of all proceeds being donated to Milton Keynes-based organisation Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia.
