A new comedy festival will be taking place in Milton Keynes later in the year, and now the first batch of comics who will appear have been revealed.
Sara Pascoe and Joe Pasquale are just two of the big name comedians who will perform at the first-ever Milton Keynes Comedy Festival. This event will send the sounds of laughter ringing through the city when it is held this summer. It will include both live performances by top stand-ups and a number of improvised comedy shows. The event is being billed as one that will entertain the entire family.
Rather than being restricted to a single venue, the different parts of the festival programme will be spread across the centre of Milton Keynes. When it comes to advertising upcoming live events, poster printing by local shops can get the job done.
Other well-known comedians who have been confirmed to appear during this festival are Ninia Benjamin, Rhys James, Ed Byrne and Simon Brodkin. There will be further artists announced between now and the date of the event.
For those who are not fans of stand-up comedy, the improvised shows may be more appealing. They will include the likes of Comedy Club 4 Kids and A Star Wars Improv Show.
The festival is being put together by club The Comedy Cow and MyMiltonKeynes BID. It will run between 9th and 12th July.
