The host for it will once again be Dobbies Garden Centre, on Belvedere Lane. Last year, this event proved to be a roaring success with local pooches, so it is being brought back to meet demand. ‘Santa Paws’ allows dog owners from all over Milton Keynes to bring them to the garden centre for a meeting with Father Christmas.
The man himself will be setting up shop within a grotto there and visitors are being promised a ‘magical journey.’ Every dog that is brought along to the event will be given its very own toy, while a professional photographer takes a snap that the owners can keep as a souvenir.
Themed promotional products from Milton Keynes shops that can be given away to residents are just one of the ways in which Christmas events like this can be advertised.
Ayesha Nickson, who is the Events Programme Manager for Dobbies, told the Milton Keynes a source that:
“Our beloved Santa Paws experience offers a truly magical moment for dog lovers and their furry companions this Christmas.”
Those buying tickets can also donate to the Dogs Trust charity.
The event runs from 5 to 24 December.
