Opening date for Milton Keynes Primark store finally announced
One of the five largest Primark stores in the UK will soon be opening its doors in Milton Keynes.
The impressive, three-storey store will measure an
astounding 75,000 square feet and stock all that Primark has to offer. The new
Primark will take the place of what used to be BHS and will constitute the
biggest store to come to centre:mk in a quarter of a century. For such grand
openings as this, businesses will often utilise banner printing for optimum
promotion.
It has recently been confirmed that the new Primark is set to open on April 16,
providing 500 jobs to the people of Milton Keynes. Centre director Kevin Duffy
is thrilled about the store’s imminent launch, stating that:
“This is a key moment for us – the new flagship store will be the single
biggest store since we introduced Marks & Spencer to centre:mk nearly 25
years ago.”
It would seem that those at Primark are equally excited by the opening.
A spokesperson for the company has said that:
“We have achieved our longstanding objective of bringing Primark to the
city centre in a store that will be emblematic of our brand.”
Last year, centre:mk enjoyed almost 25 million visitors to its stores –
exceeding the footfall recorded in many other UK shopping centres – and, thanks
to this launch, this seems set to increase for 2019.
