Sweat Studios is the brainchild of Kirsty Lowe, who has been a devotee of yoga for a decade and a half, and finally decided that she would prefer to spread the word about it than continue in her investment bank job.
Having gained a qualification to teach yoga, she opted to launch her own studio, with the aim of providing a service that was approachable, friendly and easy to understand for yoga novices.
Speaking to a reporter from the Milton Keynes Citizen, she said:
“I am hugely proud of what we’ve achieved here in just a year. The people of Milton Keynes have really taken to Sweat and what we’re about, which is demystifying yoga and promoting a better body inside and out.”
As with other facilities based there, Sweat Studios – which is located within The Hub – has the option of using flyer printing to help promote it to locals in Milton Keynes.
Lowe went on to add that the studio was attracting people from a diverse demographic, including adults, teenagers and old age pensioners, which marked it out from other fitness venues in the town.
Currently the studio is visited by approximately 500 residents of Milton Keynes every week.
