His debut single, When We Collide, sold over a million Copies, spending three weeks topping the charts. It also gained him a 2011 Best British Single nomination at the BRIT Awards.

His four album releases are Letters (2011), The Fire (2012), Porcelain (2013) and Time to Be Alive (2018). Recent years have also seen him appear as a regular guest vocalist with The Trevor Horn Band.

To this can be added stage credits that include Huey Calhoun in Memphis at the Shaftesbury in 2015 and Wally Strand in Strictly Ballroom at the Piccadilly in 2018. Indeed, he won the WhatsOnStage Best West End Debut Award in 2015.

Matt's latest album, Time to Be Alive, consists of 14 songs and showcases his talents as a singer and songwriter, fusing gospel, electronica, rock and soul sounds.
