The venue for this event will again be Willen Lake in the town and it will be twice the size of those in previous years. Willen on Ice is all about ice skating in a magical wintry setting, complete with spruces sprinkled in snow and sparking coloured lights. The rink for 2024 will be 800 square metres in size and will have real ice.
Skating is just one of the pleasures that families will be able to indulge in though. There will also be fairground rides, stalls offering a variety of street foods and an Apres Ski Bar, where they can get a welcome warm beverage if they want.
Poster printing that is provided by shops in Milton Keynes is one of the numerous options that are available when it comes to promoting events like this, nearer the time.
Willen Lake senior operations manager Tom Fogg told the Milton Keynes Citizen that:
“The expansion reflects our commitment to creating memorable festive experiences for the community and we can’t wait to see families, friends and skating enthusiasts come together to enjoy the magic of the season.”
It opens on 7th November.
