A shopping centre in Milton Keynes is set to play host to a Christmas Grotto this year, which will be the biggest indoor one in the UK.
This Grotto will be set up within Middleton Hall, which is part of the centre:mk shopping mall. It is being put together in collaboration with Penguin Books, and the theme of the Grotto will be Peter Rabbit and Friends. The management of centre:mk is stating that it will be the single largest indoor festive Grotto in the whole of the country. This will make it the perfect way for families to get into the Christmas spirit.
The first character that they will encounter when they enter the Grotto is Mrs Rabbit. She will let them know about Peter and his missing festive gifts, which the children will then search for via a series of clues.
This will take them on a magical journey through a secret tunnel into a forest covered in snow. They will have the opportunity to decorate biscuits made of gingerbread and meet up with Father Christmas.

The centre:mk director is Kevin Duffy. He stated that the centre was delighted to be able to offer this experience for youngsters.
