Milton Keynes stands up for Zaltzman

The comedian Andy Zaltzman is on tour with his 'Satirist For Hire' show and is due to play a gig in Milton Keynes towards the end of March.

A stand-up performer, he is also a writer and broadcaster, now firmly established in the upper echelons of British comedy. Andy hosts, 'The Bugle', a successful comedy podcast that has been running on Radio 4 now for several decades.

He then brought his sense of humour and considerable cricketing statistical knowledge to 'Test Match Special' in 2016 and latterly became chair of 'The News Quiz' in 2020, both of which are also be found on Radio 4. A regular at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2000, he has performed around the world including tours of Australia, North America and India.

Andy's is an original brand of incisive and inventive political and social satire. He invites members of his audience to submit topics and issues for him to satirise. This means that every show is distinctive and can cover anything from current mainstream political events to simple personal matters.

Tickets cost £16.50 inclusive of £1.50 commission. There is also a 16 plus age limit on admission. Print shops can be a useful resource when preparing for a local artistic or cultural event.

The Andy Zaltzman show has a starting time of 8pm on Sunday 27th March at The Stables, Milton Keynes.
