The blues rock outfit Catfish is now on tour and due to play a gig in Milton Keynes in mid-October.
The band hails from southern England and formed in 2014, rapidly establishing something of a reputation as a band to watch. The line-up includes Matt Long on guitar and vocals and his son Paul Long on keyboards and vocals, as well as bassist Adam Pyke and the widely respected drummer Kev Hickman.
Catfish have produced three studio albums, So Many Roads, Broken Man and Burning Bridges plus one live CD and DVD, Exile-Live In Lockdown. The first two topped the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association airplay charts, and 2019’s critically acclaimed Burning Bridges garnered a 2020 UK Blues Award nomination.
They lifted the title of Blues Act of the Year (England) in 2018 and 2020 saw them win Band of the Year at the UK Blues Awards, with Matt Long winning Blues Instrumentalist - a title he claimed again in 2021. More recently, they have toured regularly playing at festivals in the UK, the USA and Europe and are due to release an acoustic EP soon.
Tickets cost £15.50, inclusive of a booking fee. Banner printing can be an effective way of advertising an upcoming concert or musical event.
Catfish's gig has a starting time of 8.45pm on Sunday 16th October at The Stables, Milton Keynes.
