The Milton Keynes Inspiration Awards, organised by Iconic Media Concepts, are due to be held in the city early in December.
This red-carpet event, now in its third year, is seeking to build on the considerable success it achieved in previous years. The awards endeavour to shine a light on inspirational local people and their contributions to the community. It is the declared intention of the organizers to give such individuals the recognition they deserve.
Entry remains open to anyone who lives in the vicinity of Milton Keynes. Nominations for an award can be made by any member of the general public, and although they have now closed for 2020, voting remains ongoing.
A black-tie occasion, it includes live popular entertainment provided by both local artists and some more famous celebrities. There will be auctions, competitions, raffles and commercial stalls, along with several musical interludes. The fundamental aim is to inspire future generations by example through following in the footsteps of the winners.
