Milton Keynes gets ready to laugh

The comedian Bridget Christie is presently on tour with her new stand-up show, Who Am I?, and is due to play a gig in Milton Keynes in mid-March.


This award-winning English comic, writer and actor hails originally from Gloucester and studied Drama at London's Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. She has been a successful regular on the circuit for more than 15 years at this point.


Her show ‘A Bic For Her’ won the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2013, making Bridget only the third female winner, and was subsequently a box office hit at London's Soho Theatre. The Times listed it as one of the comedy shows of the last decade.


She hosted the series Bridget Christie Minds the Gap on BBC Radio 4, which won a Rose D'Or in 2014, and in 2016 had her own special streamed on Netflix. There have also been appearances on the BBC's Have I Got News For You and QI.


Bridget headlined at Reading in 2019 and currently writes for various media outlets. Her new stage show is an exploration of a middle-aged woman's mid-life crisis.
