Milton Keynes finds its funny bone

A stand-up comedy heavyweight is currently on tour, presenting 'An Evening and a Little Bit of The Morning With Mark Steel', and is due to arrive in Milton Keynes in mid-November.

This award-winning Sony and Writers Guild comic, author and broadcaster is widely recognised for BBC Radio 4's ‘Mark Steel's In Town'. Indeed, according to the event listing, it was named as the 6th greatest radio show of all time. He both writes and hosts the series, not to mention touring it live nationwide.

The comedian also presents BBC2's BAFTA-nominated 'Mark Steel Lectures'. Amongst his television credits are appearances on BBC One's 'Have I Got News For You', and BBC2's ‘QI’. He has also featured on BBC Radio 4's 'The News Quiz'.

Steel is the author of a number of critically received Books, notably 'Reasons To Be Cheerful' and ‘What's Going On'. An adapted version of his successful stand-up show 'Who Do You Think I am?', produced by Audible, came out in 2021.

He continues to write a column every week for The Independent, which in 2015 won him the accolade of Columnist of the Year.

Tickets cost £19.50, inclusive of commission. Brochure printing is a useful way of dispensing information about a future comedy or theatrical event, such as this one.

Mark Steel's show has a starting time of 8.00pm on Sunday 19th November, and is located at The Stables, Milton Keynes.
