This will be the first occasion that the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band has ever performed in Milton Keynes, and it will be treating residents to its blend of Bollywood songs and traditional Indian music.
Recognised as being among the most colourful and lively communities in the whole of India, the Rajasthani are celebrated for their glorious music and costumes that help to make life in Rajasthan’s desert landscape a little easier.
The director of the band, Farhana Neazi, told a reporter from the Milton Keynes Citizen:
“It will be our first time in Milton Keynes at the Art in the Park Festival and we are really looking forward to entertaining the crowds with performances that are highly entertaining.”
He went on to add that those attending the festival could expect to see gypsy folk dances, and hear high tempo songs and music that would have them tapping their feet to the drumbeats.
The band will be performing in the afternoon and evening on the 9th of July, and festivals like this often rely on places offering poster printing, so that they can showcase what is on offer to those who are attending.
