Milton Keynes date pencilled in by indie group

The 80s band The Primitives is currently on tour and due to play a gig in Milton Keynes towards the end of May.

This indie outfit hail from Coventry and arrived on the UK's pop scene in 1985. Original members include Tracy Tracy as lead vocalist, Paul Court on guitar and backing vocals and Tig Williams on drums.

The Primitives topped the indie chart prior to the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Lovely. It made the band a leading UK at-rock act with the single Crash bringing them international recognition. Two further studio albums, Pure and Galore, followed, as well as tours of the US and Europe. It was then, at the height of their success, that they broke up in 1992.

The Primitives got back together in 2009 and have since released two EPs and two albums (including the 2014 Spin O Rama consisting of original material), plus a five-CD Box set. There have also been tours of the UK, not to mention, performances in Europe, Japan and the US.

Tickets for the upcoming performance cost £18.40 inclusive of a booking fee. Print shops can be a valuable resource when engaged in the promotion of a concert or musical event like this one.

The Primitives gig has a starting time of 7.30pm on Monday, 22nd May at The Craufurd Arms, Milton Keynes.
