Milton Keynes date fixed for folk rock artist

The American singer/songwriter Nell Bryden is going on tour, supported by Isabella Coulstock, and is due to play Milton Keynes at the beginning of July.

A native of New York, Bryden had a bohemian childhood. Her mother was a classically trained soprano and her father painted in oils. She started out in Boston's folk clubs and then spent ten years in London, touring and playing around 250 shows in Europe annually.

Nell's first album 'What Does It Take' was released in 2009 and received considerable airplay on BBC Radio 2. Indeed, Cher covered her song 'Sirens', which focused on 9/11. She has supported Chris Rea, Gary Barlow and KT Tunstall and appeared at festivals such as CarFest and Proms in The Park.

The now resident of New York is formally part of the BMG publishing family, with six albums to her credit and 21 radio singles in an anthology under the title 'The Collection'. Her most recent album is called 'Arms Around The Flame' and was written and recorded during the COVID-19 lockdown.

The support on this occasion is provided by the 21-year-old singer-songwriter Isabella Coulstock.
