The eclectic Celtic-edged rock group, Mostly Autumn, is on tour and has arranged a gig for Milton Keynes early in December.
They formed more than 20 years ago and, after their debut album was released in 2002, quickly developed a dedicated fan base. Steve Hackett and late Jon Lord both count as admirers.
Mostly Autumn's reputation was established by constantly playing live, whilst being listed amongst the top 100 best prog outfits ever. Their musical influences include 70s rockers Pink Floyd, Genesis and Fairport Convention.
The band supported Richie Blackmore's Night and Rainbow in 2016 and 2017. They have also toured with Jethro Tull and Uriah Heep, and were Bryan Adam's special guests at his recent Murrayfield Stadium gig.
Mostly Autumn won Best Track (Sight of Day) with Olivia Spelmenn-Josh winning best female vocalist at the 2017 CRS awards. This was followed up by nominations for best UK band and best album (White Rainbow) at the 2019 Progressive Music Awards. Indeed, their most recent album ‘Graveyard Star’ came out in 2021 to widespread critical acclaim.
Tickets cost £22.50, inclusive of commission. It is widely recognised that promotional products can be a useful way of publicising a concert or forthcoming musical event.
