Hospice in Milton Keynes to host fundraising event again

A popular annual fundraising event in Milton Keynes that is organised by a local hospice is set to return to the town later in the year, with a brand new sponsor.

This family friendly event is called Mini-Moo and is put together by the Willen Hospice, which is in Milton Road. It sees youngsters compete against each other to finish a lap of the North Lake, close to the hospice. They have the option of scooting, running or walking and they are sponsored to take part, while the mascot for the hospice – Flo the Cow – acts as a cheerleader.

The 2024 event will come with its very own theme, ‘moo-vies’, and the children are being encouraged to wear outfits inspired by their favourite films. There will also be a new sponsor, in the shape of Brioche Pasquier.

Local organisations like this hospice have lots of options when they need to promote fundraising events. Flyer printing, usually provided by shops in Milton Keynes, is just one of them.

The Events Fundraiser for the hospice, Katrina Walsh, told the MK Citizen that:

“Our Mini-Moo is such a great family event. It’s fantastic to see all the kids dressed up and enjoying a morning of fun, fitness and fundraising.”

This event will also feature stalls, games and live music. It will take place on 15th September.
