A totally new blend of camera work covering 360 degrees, steadycam and drone will enable residents of the city to find out what it is like to fly through the night sky on Santa’s sleigh. Available from noon until 6pm each day, it is likely to prove a highly popular attraction with local families.
Once they climb aboard the physical sleigh, those taking part will be given goggles to help them experience the virtual reality sights. One stop will be to Advent Avenue, where they can explore the huge advent calendar that will offer prizes to those buying gifts from Xscape.
There will also be an elf team creating presents, with local children having the chance to help them via the daily Elf Art and Craft Workshops.
Xscape Milton Keynes general manager, Carl Meal, told the Milton Keynes Citizen that:
“We couldn’t be more excited about this year’s Christmas event…We’re taking things to a whole new level – I have had a sneak peek of the VR flight and now can’t stop watching it.”
