The awards were marked with a dinner, at which everyone present wore formal attire and a band performed live music. Milton Keynes hotel, the Jury’s Inn served as the venue for this and retailers from across the country were in attendance to receive recognition for their work throughout the year.
The ZipYard’s director, Russell Golding, told the Milton Keynes Citizen that the company was run with a culture based on providing customers with the best service possible, making it especially pleasing for this to be recognised at the ceremony, adding:
“I am extremely grateful to the close knit team who work with me at the ZipYard, I believe in my business and employ brilliant people who are not afraid of hard work.”
Voting for the awards was carried out by the general public, who were encouraged to use the website for the Intu shopping centre to vote for the businesses they thought should win across a variety of different categories.
