A flurry of winter events will take place in Milton Keynes

Residents of Milton Keynes are gearing up for a fun packed winter season with a host of activities to keep residents busy while the nights draw in.

As winter approaches, this period will see the launch of Christmas Festivities commencing around the city.

Stowe Park, a National Trust parkland near the city centre, is organising a number of winter events, including a wreath making workshop. Using foliage foraged from around the parkland, attendees will be able to make their own festive wreath to take home with them.

The Seasonal Wildlife Trail at Stowe Gardens invites guests to follow a special trail through the gardens to spot various interactive games and puzzles to solve. These are hidden throughout the park. Using local printing services will help these organisations to get the word out about the different events that are taking place throughout this period.

Various installations will also be on show throughout the Christmas season in Milton Keynes. The Stowe gift shop will have festive gifts for visitors to browse. For Stowe’s special shopping event, mulled wine and food samples will be on offer to get visitors in the Christmas spirit.

Access to the cafe, shop and bookshop is free. Access to the Stowe gardens costs £13 per adult and £6.50 per child, with National Trust members able to visit for free.
