Popular festival returns to Manchester
Manchester is set to host a returning music festival this autumn.
The 2021 edition of Manchester’s celebrated urban music festival Parklife has been announced, offering fans of different music genres a chance to enjoy a wide range of famous artists. With acts representing dance, hip-hop, electronic and indie music annually taking to the stage, this year’s festival has plenty to offer attendees.
Previously known as Mad Ferret Festival, this independent event used to be held in Manchester’s Platt Fields Park in Rusholme, before moving to Heaton Park to cope with its growing popularity and increased attendance.
The event, which has recorded tens of thousands of people participating in the past, will this year see Mercury Prize winner Dave along with Grammy winners Megan Thee Stallion perform along with Eric Prydz, the dance music icon.
Organisers of major outdoor events can sometimes use flyer printing services to spread the word throughout members of the community and promote attendance on the day. Other artists confirmed for the weekend event include Disclosure, Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati and Camelphat. While there is no camping onsite at the event, those taking part will enjoy plenty of food and drinks and an extensive range of unique entertainment.
The Parklife music festival will be held at Manchester’s Heaton Park on St Margaret’s Road, from September 11 until September 12.
