Comedian sets date for Manchester

The Scottish stand-up Daniel Sloss is currently on tour with his latest solo show Bitter, and is due to play a gig in Manchester in mid-May.

This award-winning comedian sold more tickets than any others globally for the best part of 2021. This included six solo off-Broadway seasons in New York, as well as making multiple TV appearances, notably on Conan and Sunday Night at the Palladium. He has also played successfully in a total of 55 countries.

His solo show, Daniel Sloss: X, previously garnered positive reviews on its worldwide tour, during the course of which he delivered 300 performances. Indeed, the show in Sydney was consigned to film and subsequently premiered in Canada and the USA on HBO in 2019.

Sloss has completed two hour-long live specials (Jigsaw and DARK) for Netflix that continue to be streamed in numerous countries, while he has also appeared regularly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Sloss's book Everyone You Hate is Going to Die is a Penguin Random House publication, and he is to be found on tour most of the year.
