Manchester park to welcome dinosaur adventure
An event celebrating the giants of the Jurassic era is planned for a park in Manchester.
The team responsible for the award-winning lantern and light festival, known as Lightopia are set to transform Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park into the Dino Kingdom this summer. The all-outdoor event will boast over 70 realistic dinosaurs that move and roar, just waiting to be discovered.
The dinosaurs will be brought to life using cutting-edge augmented reality and 3D technology providing unique interactive experiences for attendees.
Timed for the school holidays, this summer event has been designed to provide a day of fun-filled family entertainment. Event organisers promoting special summer occasions around major cities can sometimes use flyer printing services to create colourful leaflets that encourage attendance.
Along with the massive specimens like the apatosaurus and the tyrannosaurus rex, there will also be a selection of exhilarating fairground rides, puppet shows and live performances, with characters in costume.
There will also be plenty of interactive learning opportunities for those visiting the installation, who can discover volcanoes, fossils, dinosaur eggs, a huge dinosaur skeleton, and an excavation pit ready to be unearthed.
The Dino Kingdom summer event will take place from Friday, July 23 to Sunday, August 8 at Wythenshawe Park, which will be open to the public seven days a week from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.
