The alternative rock group Bôa is currently on its 'Whiplash' tour and is due to play a gig in Manchester at the beginning of June.
They got together in London as a funk band in 1993, so began months of intense practice and songwriting. Original founding members included drummer Ed Herten and Paul Turrell on strings/keyboards as well as legendary rock singer Paul Rogers' (Free and Bad Company) son Steve on guitar/vocals.
The band first performed live at the London Forum in January 1994, acting as support for Paul Rodgers himself, then appeared at the Glastonbury Festival the following year. They released two studio LPs, 'Twilight' (2001) and 'Get There' (2005), three CDs, one EP and a single. Ed Herten departed in 1994 and there have been several significant line-up changes since.
After a long hiatus in recording, Bôa recently returned to the studio once again, off the back of a huge resurgence of interest in their classic song 'Duvet”, down to TikTok. The 1990s London rockers have now produced their first new album, 'Whiplash' in nearly two decades.
Tickets cost £27.57 inclusive of a transaction fee. Stationery printers can be of great assistance when it comes to the production of a concert or musical event.
Bôa's gig has a starting time of 7.00 pm on Tuesday 10th June at New Century Hall, Manchester.
